TERMS AND CONDITIONS The Natural Healing Center® is a registered trademark. All material on our website, social media, printed, and electronic publications may not be copied or published without prior written permission of The Natural Healing Center®. All rights are reserved. Materials may be retrieved and downloaded for personal, non-commercial use only.
1. BOOKINGS Once an electronic, written, or verbal booking has been accepted by The Natural Healing Center®, the client/patient enters into an agreement for treatment based on these Terms and Conditions. The term “treatment” refers to sessions of all therapies detailed on this website. Average Delivery/Service Timeline: Payments are processed at the time of booking or at the appointment. Services are provided on the booked date, typically within 1–14 days of purchase.
2. PAYMENT Payment is due in full at the end of each session (cash or card). Online serivces are paid before session starts Packages must be paid in full at the first session. Gift packages must be paid in full before the first treatment. Treatment packages are designed to be taken within a set period (varies by package). Patients are advised to schedule the full series in advance. Unused sessions: Expire 6 months from the first treatment. May only be redeemed as non-discounted sessions equivalent to the value paid. Refunds or partial refunds are not applicable unless cancelled by the practitioner. ⚖ Note: By booking treatment sessions for a specific date and time, you acknowledge that the statutory “cooling-off period” for distance sales under EU and UK law does not apply.
3. Refund Policy or Cancellation Policy Less than 24 hours’ notice: the full session fee is due. Prepaid package sessions: the missed session is deducted from the package. Late arrivals: sessions may be shortened or cancelled. If no contact is received within 15 minutes of the appointment time, the session may be cancelled and considered a no-show.
4. DISCLAIMER Treatments at The Natural Healing Center® are complementary and not a substitute for conventional medical advice or treatment. Diagnosis is provided from a Classical Chinese Medicine perspective. Treatments do not claim to cure but aim to support the body’s natural healing processes. Patients are responsible for: Informing the practitioner of medical history and changes. Consulting their medical practitioner regarding conditions or suitability for treatment. ⚖ Legal note: Nothing in these Terms seeks to exclude liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for negligence, fraud, or breach of statutory duty.
5. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA Personal data collected during consultations is stored securely and used only for treatment and administrative purposes. Data is processed in line with our Privacy Policy, which complies with EU GDPR and UK GDPR. Marketing emails will only be sent with your explicit consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
6. LINKS External website links are provided in good faith for informational purposes. The Natural Healing Center® disclaims responsibility for third-party content.
7. GOVERNING LAW These Terms are governed by Icelandic law. Mandatory consumer protection laws in the country where you reside will also apply. The Natural Healing Center® reserves the right to update these Terms by posting revised versions on this site.
